I’m a 40 something manager from Glasgow in Scotland where I live with my long-suffering partner and 2 cats.
I first started playing WoW in February 2005 and knew nothing about MMOs at all. I demonstrated this with my first character, a protection paladin called Arleff who levelled to 60 almost entirely solo whilst using 1H and shield. He is long deleted but his spirit of ineptitude lives on.
Through these posts I shall share/inflict my views on all things Warcraft and anything else I feel like on anyone who has the misfortune to stumble across them.
Currently, my WoW focus is a Rogue called Xeal and I’m trying to master the talents of Assassination (well, who wouldn’t?). I can also be found periodically playing various classes – none of them particularly well, hopefully I’m gradually improving.
Away from WoW I enjoy music from Joy Division, Devo and even the Dropkick Murphys (I was a child of the punk generation, what can I say?).
I also enjoy movies with Serenity, Donnie Darko along with the LotR trilogy being favourites. I possess a strange masochistic tendency to watch anything with Steven Segal it – I know it can’t be good but I can’t help myself.
